EverHeart Hospice Welcomes PRN Registered Nurse

EverHeart Hospice is pleased to welcome Shanna Sutter back to their team as a PRN Registered Nurse.  

Shanna earned her LPN from Northwest State Community College and later attended Rhodes State College to become a Registered Nurse (RN).  

Shanna worked for the organization under its former name, State of the Heart Care, and is excited to continue her career doing something that is both challenging and interesting.  

“You know you are meant to be a nurse. It’s a feeling deep inside you that tells you nursing is your calling,” shared Shanna.  

Shanna has personal experience with hospice as well. Her father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and later utilized hospice. She recalls, “The empathy and compassion they showed us during this difficult time was surreal.” 

As a nurse, Shanna is inspired to work at EverHeart Hospice to help her patients achieve a higher quality of life physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
